At the elegant Park Lane Hotel, afternoon tea is served from 3pm to 6pm in Art Deco Palm Court. The location is simply beautiful and the tea is accompanied by live music. The standard Afternoon Tea package costs £27 and includes finger sandwiches, scones and French pastries.

5. The Cadogan
If you appreciate art, you should check out the new “ARTea” in the Cadogan Hotel’s Drawing Room. The collections from the respected Kings Road Art Gallery will be featured in the Drawing Room. This Afternoon Tea features artist palette “biscuits” with edible paintbrushes.
The Cadogan’s location close to Harrods and Harvey Nichols makes it a great choice for post-shopping refreshment. And after your shopping spree, the reasonable price tag of £22.50 is easier on the wallet than some other places. Afternoon Tea service runs from 3-6 pm and includes a variety of scones, jams, pastries, sandwiches and selection of teas.

6. The Ritz
Tea at The Ritz is one of the grandest affairs in London. The Palm Court is a study in Victorian elegance with statues, palms and silk upholstery.There is usually a pianist or harpist providing musical entertainment.
The Ritz has a dress code in their public areas and their tea is very popular so this is not a place that you will be able to swing in for Tea on a whim. Reservations for the Ritz’s Tea are essential. The Ritz’s Afternoon Tea package costs £37 and you get a large selection of sandwiches, scones, and cake along with your never-ending pot of tea.

Afternoon tea is at the Dorchester is served in the stately marble Promenade. This corridor, in the heart of the hotel, is made for lounging. Tea is served on low coffee tables as you relax on comfy sofas. A pianist provides entertainment and their substantial tea is served on porcelain china. The Dorchester’s Afternoon Tea is £31.50. They have two sittings at 2:30 & 4:45.
